Jess Butterell successfully prosecutes a Defendant for possession of an imitation firearm at Teesside Crown Court

Jess Butterell successfully prosecuted a Defendant at Teesside Crown Court, who was running a defence of mistaken identity, for the offence of possessing an imitation firearm. Jess conducted the three day trial in Middlesbrough, following which, the Defendant was found guilty of attending at the Complainant’s property with an imitation firearm and discharging it on at least two occasions causing damage to her property and fear of violence. The Defendant was sentenced to six years imprisonment.
