David Brooke KC and Grace Cowell (of One Pump Court) secured the acquittal, at Sheffield Crown Court, following a 4-week trial of their client who faced charges of Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm with intent to endanger life.
David and Grace, who were instructed by Youngs solicitors in Sheffield, were the only Defence team of five to be acquitted in the case which involved the shooting of two men in Doncaster.
