Daniel Ingham and Eugene Cross were invited by Chadwick Lawrence to present a Mock Health and Safety Trial hosted at Headingley Stadium. The event was held by the Regulatory team at Chadwick Lawrence in conjunction with Lighthouse Risk Services and had 185 attendees from a variety of backgrounds.
The case concerned an accident at work, and the inadequacy of risk assessments carried out by a fictious company.
Eugene has previously dealt with cases in the Employment Tribunal involving allegations of racial discrimination, and unlawful dismissal. He had also defended companies in the criminal courts prosecuted by Trading Standards and County Councils.
Daniel has been appointed to the List of Specialist Regulatory Advocates at Grade C and prosecutes on behalf of the Attorney-General for the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency, Office of Rail and Road, Natural Resources Wales, the Care Quality Commission and the Office for Product Safety and Standards.
