Conor Quinn leading Becky Jane successfully prosecuted an attempted murder in Bradford Crown Court in a trial concluding on 13th July 2026.
The Defendant, Luke Leggatt, aged 25, repeatedly stabbed his mother’s partner, including to the head and neck, with one stab wound fracturing the male’s skull. Jurors heard how the male left his address, severely injured, before collapsing and receiving assistance from members of the public and emergency services on Beckside Road in Bradford.
The prosecution successfully adduced live evidence from a pathologist addressing the issues of causation and possible mechanisms of the injuries sustained.
Leggatt will be sentenced later in the year.
