Simon Mallett and Richard Honey KC have just returned from Sierra Leone having completed advocacy training with the Inns of Court College of Advocacy for members of the Sierra Leone Bar Association. The training took place in Freetown, Sierra Leone from 21st to 23rd March 2023. It was attended by over 30 Barristers from Sierra Leone with Key Note speeches from the Chief Justice and other members of the Sierra Leone Judiciary. Simon said “It was an enormous privilege to help train the Bar in Sierra Leone and meet with so many local Barristers and Judges. The course went very well and hopefully our training will have helped to further develop the Barristers’ advocacy skills”.

Simon and Richard attended on a Pro Bono basis with their expenses and the training financially supported by A4ID (Role UK) and UK Aid.
