Andrew Hall inquest jury determines all police actions necessary, proportionate and justified

At the conclusion of a ten week inquest into the death of Andrew Hall, an inquest jury determined that all the actions of West Yorkshire Police officers and staff were necessary, lawful and justified. The jury heard from 50 witnesses, including 14 experts in what all experts agreed was an unusually complex inquest. Olivia Checa-Dover acted for West Yorkshire Police, led by Hugh Davies QC.
