Practice Summary
Oliver is a popular member of the family law team and received praise for his judgement, manner and tenacity. He acts in a wide range of family law cases, with a particular emphasis on those involving children. He represents Respondents and the Local Authority, providing advice at all stages of the case, from initial advice on the law and evidence to the final representation at court.
Oliver is regularly instructed by police forces in family cases which raise questions with regard to disclosure and has developed a family practice that centres around public law work but also has a sound reputation dealing with private law cases and financial provision disputes.
In 2014 he was instructed on a multi-million pound ancillary relief case, but will fight just as hard in cases where the amounts of money are smaller.
