R v H, Sheffield Crown Court
Male accused of sexually touching his step-daughter over a number of years. Acquitted after trial.
R v Noel, Bradford Crown Court;
Arson with intent to endanger life charge dismissed by the Judge after my submission that the DNA evidence was ambiguous and without corroboration was insufficient to prove the case against the Defendant.
R v Caygill (and others), Teesside Crown Court;
Burglary of over £30,000 of property from a garden centre. Acquitted after trial.
R v Sohal, Bradford Crown Court;
Armed Robbery (gun). Instructed after PCMH and raised issue of the reliability of the identification evidence resulting in the Crown offering no evidence.
R v Ramos (and others), Sheffield Crown Court;
Defendant accused of kidnap and false imprisonment was bound over to keep the peace.
