Areas of Practice

Undertakes a mixed practice throughout the North-Eastern Circuit, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Greater Manchester

Crime

Defends and Prosecutes (Grade II) in Magistrates' Court, Youth Court and Crown Court.
Recently defended and prosecuted allegations of wounding, wounding with intent, burglary, robbery and a number of sexual offences.
Represents privately paying clients in road traffic cases.
Attended training in prosecuting serious sexual offences and in the use of intermediaries to assist vulnerable witnesses.

Civil

Represents Claimants and Defendants in personal injury and road traffic accident claims. Also advises on liability and quantum and drafts statements of case.

Prison

Appears before Parole Board hearings representing those returned to prison during their license period.

Employment

Represents and advises both Claimants and Respondents.
