Mentioned in Legal 500 in respect of the 7/7 bombing and subsequent inquest (instructed on behalf of West Yorkshire Police)
Has appeared at a number of non-Article 2 (Jamieson) and Article 2 (Middleton) coroners' inquests and is presently instructed as second junior counsel for West Yorkshire Police at the Coroner's Inquests into the London Bombings of 7th July 2005.
Has acted for several police forces in misfeasance actions, claims under the Police Property Act and at licensing hearings and firearms appeals.
Has acted as the legal advisor to misconduct hearing panels in police disciplinary proceedings.
Has extensive experience acting on behalf of the police in applications for Sexual Offences Prevention Order/Foreign Travel Orders, Football Banning Orders, Closure Orders and Violent Offender Orders and advises police forces on the bringing of such applications.
Also has extensive experience of making cash forfeiture applications under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, both at first instance and on appeal, and has recently presented a programme of seminars for officers and staff from a number of Financial Investigation Units and Force Solicitors Offices.
