Criminal Law

Regularly appears in the magistrates’, youth and Crown courts in all areas of crime.

Experienced in prosecution and defence work in a wide range of hearings, including magistrates’ court trials, Newton hearings, breaches, sentences and committals. Experienced in magistrates court trials for theft, public order, assault, harassment, racially aggravated charges and road traffic offences. Particular interest and experience in representing defendants in the magistrates’ court against whom the Crown seek Football Banning Orders upon conviction.

Regularly appears in the Crown court for committals for sentence, appeals against conviction/sentence, plea and case management hearings and sentences.
Provides written Advices on evidence, disclosure and appeal where necessary.

Level 1 prosecutor.
